Experience of the Company

The Company has taken over a number of SHPs in Himachal Pradesh in hand and the same are at various stages of Planning / Construction as under:-
1. Solang H.E.P. (2x500 KW) in Distt. Kullu (H.P).
The Project is owned by A Power Himalayas Ltd. This is the first SHP in the Private sector under UNDP scheme in H.P. company has taken over construction in the year 1997 of all Civil works such as Diversion Weir, Feeder Channel, Deislting Tank, Power pipe, Forebay Tank, Penstock, Power House & Tail race. The site is located in a very difficult terrain / snow fed area at Manali Distt. Kullu. The Project was completed in late 2001.
2. Manjhal H.E.P. (2x500 KW) in Distt. Chamba (H.P)
The Project is owned by M/s. Virender Dogra Power Projects Pvt. Ltd. Our Company has prepared and got approved DPR, all NOCs. Further the team undertook construction works and commissioned the project successfully. The Commercial Operation Date is 20.12.2005. The Project is operating satisfactorily and generating electricity as per calculated units/yr. Since then, our team has been continuously learning and improving the Operation and Maintenance practices of a Hydro Power Plant.
3. Kalm H.E.P. (2x1500 KW) in Distt. Chamba (H.P)
The Project is owned by M/s. Sunshine Hydro Power Ltd., Our company has taken over the complete management i.e. on Turnskey basis. PFR, DSI and DPR has been approved, T.E.C. issued and implementation agreement signed on 08.06.2005. After obtaining all the clearances and NOCs by our company the construction work stands started on 03.03.2009. The project has now been commissioned and the generation is as per the projections made in the DPR at time of survey and investigations. We are now engaged for the Operation, Maintenance and Repair of the complete Power House activities at the project.
4. Dehar H.E.P. (2x1500 KW) in Distt. Chamba (H.P)
The Project is owned by M/s. Astha Hydro Power Ltd. Our Company has taken over the work of alignment and setting out works of all components. Alignment of various components has been completed and layout marked on the ground. The Project has been commissioned.
5. Kuwarsi H.E.P. (2x2500 KW) in Distt. Chamba (H.P)
The Project is owned by M/s. V.B. Hydro Projects. Ltd. The T.E.C. Stands accorded for (2x1500 KW) and IA singed. However, the installed capacity has been enhanced to (2x2500 KW). Revised DPR has been approved and T.E.C. accorded. The Implementation Agreement signed on 14.11.2008. All NOC’s obtained. Interconnection point got finalized on 07.01.2011. All Land Diversion (Forest Land) has been made and Lease Case registered.
The construction activities and site mobilization has started. We are executing this project on EPC Contract basis including design, construction and testing of a 2.0 km long D-shaped tunnel carrying approx. 6 cumecs of discharge. 1.5mtr Dia penstock. 2 x 2.5 MW Power House building including transmission line and switch yard.
6. Lower Makkan H.E.P. (2x2500 KW) in Distt. Chamba (H.P)
The Project is owned by M/s. Sidh Motors Pvt. Ltd. Our company has taken over preparing PFR, DSI and DPR. The PFR has been prepared and stands submitted to the Director, Himurja. The DPR alongwith the preliminary NoC’s has been submitted and approved by the DoE. We are likely to undertake the execution works on EPC mode, once the Land is diverted.
7. Irrigation and Public Health (2x120 KW) in Distt. Kangra (H.P)
This is a govt. project under Sidhatha Medium Irrigation Project Scheme. We are preparing DPR , Tender Documents with design and specification for Civil and Electro- Mechanical Works. Consultancy upto the commission of the project is also to be provided. All Civil Works have been completed, the plant is commissioned and operating successfully.
Ladakh Renewable Energy Development Agency, (LREDA)
MHP Cluster Shayok and MHP Cluster Durbuk, LEH (J&K;)
This is a cluster of 13 power projects which are being developed by the Ladakh Renewable Energy Development Agency (LREDA), Govt. of Leh Ladakh (J&K;). These are projects sponsored by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) Govt. of India, to provide electricity in Ladakh district, projects situated in different locations and nallahas. As the complete region is dependent on fueled generators for power, the upcoming of these Hydro Projects, shall contribute towards the local economy in a broad way.

These projects are being consulted by our company. Scope of work: Survey, Investigation, Environment Impact Study, Detail Design and Specifications, Preparation of DPR, Estimation and Construction Methodology, Tender Documents, Civil Construction & Detailed Design Drawings. These Projects are at an elevation of more than 4000m above M.S.L. The Phobrang Project is the world’s highest altitude hydro power plant which shall be commissioned. The Construction Work is in progress. Our scope of work is completed and satisfactory.
21. Shilla H.E.P ( 2x1000KW), Distt. Kullu (H.P)
The project is owned by M/s Hydro Waves Pvt. Ltd. The DPR has been revised and Forest land case prepared. Our team has revised the layout of the project and a fresh setting out at site was done lately. We are offering Detailed Design and Engineering for construction purpose and financial advisory. The construction activities are likely to begin by June 2016 once the forest land is diverted.
22. Channi H.E.P (2x2500KW) , Distt. Chamba (H.P)
The project is owned by M/s Pitambra Hydro Power Projects P.L. Scope of work: Review and approval of the DPR from concerned dept., furnish NOC’s , prepare tender documents and float tenders for Civil and E&M.; Management on Turnskey Basis.
23. Chatri H.E.P (2x2500KW), Distt. Chamba (H.P)
The project is owned by M/s Pitambra Hydro Power Projects P.L. Scope of work: Review and approval of the DPR from concerned dept., furnish NOC’s , prepare tender documents and float tenders for Civil and E&M.; Management on Turnskey Basis.
24. Malin H.E.P (2 x 2500 kW), Distt. Chamba (H.P)
The project is owned by M/s Mercury Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The original alloted capacity of the project has been enhanced from 2.8 MW to 5.00 MW after undertaking the topographical survey for review of the project proposal. All Clearances and approvals including diversion of land is under progress.
25. Brahal Top H.E.P (2 x 3000 kW), Distt. Kangra (H.P)
The project is owned by M/s Padhas Hydel Projects Pvt. Ltd. Detailed Design and Drawings alongwith the B.O.M of the Hydraulic Gates was done by our team. The project is expected to come into generation by Sept. 2015.
26. Gaj Top H.E.P (2 x 1900 kW), Distt. Kangra (H.P)
The project is owned by M/s Satya Sai Hydel Projects Pvt. Ltd. Almost 50% of the total Civil Works has been completed. We are consulting as the clients engineer and are responsible for complete management and planning of the construction and erection activities at site. Supervision of the complete activities at site is our responsibility up to commissioning. The project is likely to be commissioned by April 2016.
27. Malin II M.H.P (2 x 900kW), Distt. Chamba, (H.P)
The project is owned by M/s Siddharth Sood (Proprietary), identified and applied under self identified scheme to HIMURJA by our team. The works of DSI, Feasibility Report and DPR shall be started shortly.
Fresh Site Identifications : we are identifying potential sites for development of Hydro Power Projects in various basins of Himachal Pradesh. A few of the clients applied for these self identified sites, under allotment during December 2014, are : M/s SRS Naturals Ltd., M/s Maken Energies, M/s MRB Energy, M/s Shiv Jal Urja and M/s Siddharth Sood.
Uttrakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA) – Govt. of Uttrakhand
28. Varuni Ki Gad MHP, Distt. Uttarkashi, (U.K)
We have been successfully empanelled as Technical Consultants for implementation of Micro and Mini Hydro Projects by the UREDA. Over the period of two to three years, we shall be preparing DSI, PFR & DPR of almost 40 project sites for the department as per the Hydro Policy of U.K. We are presently working on 2 no. sites allotted to us.
29. Ranu Ki Gad MHP, Distt. Uttarkashi, (U.K)
** We are being allotted 5 more sites under this scheme in the month of October by UREDA.
